BIO FOR TRAINER TREY SLATE –
Trey Slate is an Oklahoma native Player Development Coach who has worked with numerous NBA and Professional Athletes. Coach Trey played basketball at the University of Oklahoma for 2 years, where he earned the “Hardest Worker” award each year. Trey finished his basketball career at Mid America Christian University where he was a team captain both years and won a National Championship. Coach Trey now shares his knowledge and passion for the game with many of Oklahoma City’s surrounding great players, and his unique approach and attention detail make him a must see for players who are serious about taking their game to the next level. Trey’s ultimate goal is to help players take ownership of their dream and relentlessly pursue the things that they are passionate about.
BIO FOR TRAINER DANIEL HARPER –
Daniel Harper graduated from Norman High School in 2013, where he was a 3-year captain on the basketball team. Harper continued his playing career at The University of Oklahoma from 2013-2017. During that time the Sooners made 3 trips to the NCAA tournament headlined by a Final Four appearance in 2016. Harper was voted by teammates most likely to become a college coach in both the 2015-2016 and 2016-2017 seasons at Oklahoma. He was also selected by teammates to receive the award for the team’s Most Inspirational Player at the conclusion of the 2016-2017 season. Harper spent the last 3 years as an assistant boy’s basketball coach at Southmoore High School and head coach for the Team Buddy Buckets 17u squad. He is now working full-time alongside Trey Slate as a player development coach.
