As Team Griffin Academy welcomes the Team Buddy Buckets (TBB) family to their program, we are excited to announce that Team Griffin Academy will officially launch this spring inviting current TBB players of all ages to join the Team Griffin Basketball community.

Our mission is to help families raise great children.  We do that by transmitting positive values through basketball.  We then build a community of like-minded families and supporters around that process. We believe that basketball can be a force for good in our community by helping young players develop a set of skills that will serve them well now and in the future; on and off the court.

Our vision includes becoming the best basketball development program in the United States.

As part of Team Griffin’s world-class youth basketball program, the Griffin Academy will coach, train, develop, and promote basketball in Oklahoma City for boys and girls starting as young as 5 years old all the way through high school. Griffin Academy teams will compete at the appropriate competitive level and our goal is that every player and team maximize their full potential.

While you will receive further details in the coming days, please see the information below:

• Griffin Academy roster spots will be guaranteed for all current players on any TBB team.
  Players will be assessed and evaluated by our professional staff and then placed on teams best suited for their development.

• Academy staff will be conducting tryouts and evaluations in February and March 2023.

• Our goal is for Griffin Academy teams to consistently compete for championships at every level.

• Players and teams will be developed according to an official Griffin Academy methodology that will offer best in class basketball instruction and a consistent approach to the game across all age groups and levels.

• Expanded offerings to serve players at all ages and ability levels

• Griffin Academy will have significant resources, access to facilities, the best coaching staff in the region, and a stellar track record for developing players.
